Appel à contributions : ‘Outcast voices: reflections on the marginalized, the exiled and the secondary in classical and modern Arabic culture.’

Le Département de langue et littérature arabe de l’Université de Haifa, Israël, organise un colloque international qui le tiendra du 10 au 12 janvier 2017, sur  le thème : ‘Outcast voices: reflections on the marginalized, the exiled and the secondary in classical and modern Arabic culture.’

Les propositions de contributions à l’approche innovante et interdisciplinaire sont les bienvenues dans le cadre des thèmes suivants (les intitulés sont en anglais car les propositions devront être rédigées en anglais ou en arabe) :

  • Theoretical and philosophical reflections on the marginalized, the exiled and the secondary in classical and modern Arabic culture.
  • Classical and modern secondary perceptions of the Qurān.
  • Classical and modern secondary perceptions of the Ḥadīth traditions.
  • Literature: Marginalized poets; secondary literature; exiled authors; eccentric characters.
  • —Carnivalesque elements in art and literature.
  • The clown, the saint and the social reformer.
  • Language, Linguistics and Dialects: marginal languages and dialects.
  • Poetics and Literary Criticism: secondary poetics and literary critical thoughts.
  • Philosophy: ostracized philosophers, secondary philosophical thought.
  • The Craft of Medicine: quackery and charlatans.
  • Historiography: “detached” historical writings; secondary observations on history; suppressed historical narratives.
  • Movements: marginalized social and religious groups.
  • Voices of Ambiguity: faces of wisdom under masks of madness.

Informations pratiques :

  • Langues officielles du colloque : anglais et arabe
  • Les propositions de contribution devront contenir un résumé n’excédant pas 300 mots, un CV concis, l’adresse mail et le numéro de téléphone de l’auteur.
  • Les propositions devront être envoyées comme pièces jointes au format Word ou PDF aux organisateurs du colloque : le Dr. Masud Hamdan (masudh6@gmail.com) etle Dr. Jalal abd Alghani (jabdalg1@univ.haifa.ac.il).
  • La date butoir d’envoi est le 30 avril 2016.
