A new PhD student at the IPRA
It is our pleasure to welcome Kheloudja Amer as a new PhD student in sociology at the Ipra. She was awarded a doctoral scholarship from the University of Nantes where she will be working under the direction of Prof. Marie Cartier (CENS-UMR 6025) and Karima Dirèche (directrice de recherche au CNRS, historienne et chercheur associée à l’Institut de recherche et d’Etudes sur le Monde Arabe et Musulman (IREMAM) d’Aix-en-Provence). Her thesis is entitled:
Conversions au christianisme en Algérie, une approche sociologique. Le cas des femmes dans la Kabylie rurale.
